Patrick Spencer, AGNP-BC, OCN has over 20 years’ experience within the nursing profession as an RN, and for the past 3 years as a nurse practitioner (NP). He has dedicated the last 11 years of his career working at Mount Sinai Hospital in New York City in Hematology/Oncology and more specifically with Multiple Myeloma. He has participated in an educational video for Physician Resource Network, and has educated new hires on Multiple Myeloma diagnosis, treatments, and side effect management. Patrick has had been recognized by Cure magazine in 2018 as a Bone Health Champion, and he has received The Rookie of the Year Award in 2023 as a new Nurse Practitioner within Mount Sinai Hospital. During the past three years, Patrick has worked as an NP within the Mount Sinai’s Multiple Myeloma Car-T program, and most recently started teaching about Car-T as part of the BMT Education Day at Mount Sinai.
