Dory Abelman is a Ph.D. candidate in the Department of Medical Biophysics at the University of Toronto. His research is centered on advancing methodologies for the use of cell-free DNA (cfDNA) extracted from peripheral blood and bone marrow plasma to monitor multiple myeloma. Dory’s work employs both targeted panel sequencing and whole-genome sequencing approaches to identify and quantify genomic alterations in cfDNA. His research aims to provide novel insights into disease progression, treatment response, and minimal residual disease in multiple myeloma patients.
