    I studied medicine at the faculty of medicine at the University of Damascus. Then, I joined the internal medicine residency program at St. Barnabas Hospital in New York. I worked on multiple myeloma in Little Rock, Arkansas. In 2011, I served as an assistant professor of medicine at the Myeloma Institute for Research and Therapy (named MIRT at that time) at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences in Little Rock, AR.
    I finished my post-graduation I studied cancer cell biology. My work mainly focused on proteomics analysis as related to proteasome inhibitors' effects on myeloma cell lines.
    Currently, I serve as a member of the plasma cell disorder program at the Levine Cancer Institute. I care for MM patients in the clinic, apheresis, and during transplant and CART therapy. Our team focuses on clinical trials and translational science for amyloidosis and multiple myeloma. My focus is on immunotherapies for Multiple Myeloma, with a particular focus on high-risk myeloma.
