Masaki Iino, Md, PhD
Dr Masaki Iino is currently a Director of the Department of Hematology and Hematopoietic Stem-Cell Transplantation and Deaprtment of general Medicne and Infectious Diseases at Yamanashi Prefectural Central Hospital, Japan. He is also Clinical Professor at Yamanashi Prefectural University, Graduate School of Nursing. He received his undergraduate degree, MD, PhD from Yamanashi Medical University and did his post-graduate training at University of New Mexico. He then joined the Department of Internal Medicine at Nagoya University in 1997. After returning to Yamanashi in 2004, he established hematopoietic stem-cell transplantation system in the prefecture and is currently treating patients with hematologic diseases. He has also conducted several clinical trials and published several papers in the area of hematologic malignancies. His current research efforts are focused on introducing novel agents to improve the outcomes of treatment of hematologic malignancies.
